Stuart
Stuart is a migrant who has held senior positions at National Australia Bank (where he built their migrant banking business and ran their London office) and Commonwealth Bank of Australia (where he was executive manager of global International, Migrant and Multicultural Banking) before deciding to set up Move to Australia to make it easier for migrants to negotiate the maze of processes and services that migrants need to use when planning and going through the move.

Stuart has written various articles for migration publications, been a guest speaker at 100’s of migration events and attended many migration expos and events in the UK, Europe, Canada, USA, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, The Philippines and China. He grew up in South Africa, has lived in London for 9 years on three separate occasions and has called Australia home since 1995. Stuart has personally spoken to >50,000 migrants in his 10+ years in the migration industry and formed strong relationships across the globe with migration agents, international removals companies, other services companies in the migration industry, local and international government teams and even arranged an agreement with the Philippine Ambassador in Canberra to assist the Filipino community in Australia. Passionate about Australia and what it has to offer, he has traveled to almost every part of every state. When not traveling overseas to help migrants with their move, he is a keen kite surfer and stand up paddle surfer who calls Perth home.


Tim
Tim is a migrant who has called Australia home since 2002, he lived and was educated in South Africa, moving to London where he lived for 2 years before settling in Sydney. Tim was a senior manager of an international business at Commonwealth Bank before his role as General Manager of Commonwealth Bank’s International, Migrant and Multicultural Banking business and has extensive local and international strategic and management consulting experience. He was responsible for establishing Asian banking centers across Australia to assist Chinese and other clients who speak English as a second language with their banking needs in Australia and ultimately responsible for a business that acquired >55,000 new customers in one year for the bank. A keen long distance runner, Tim has represented Australia in ultra (100km+) marathons. He lives in Sydney with his young family and his son recently played one of the child lead roles in the national production of Les Misrables.
