Tony has a passion for visual expression, an instinctive sense of the moment and brings a unique combination of award winning photographic vision and simple creativity.

He has been recognised by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography with a Honorary Fellowship and the status of Grand Master for his photographic exploration of the genres of Landscape, Portrait and Fine Art Photography. Tony is regularly invited to present on creativity, connection and vision in both national and international events.

Tony often explores our unique Australian environment from different perspectives, such as his “Altered Landscapes”, which seek to illustrate the hand of man and its impact on his surroundings. He has exhibited both solo and jointly in over 30 exhibitions, including “2016 Inscription”, “52 Weeks On – The Pilbara Project” and “Southwest Light”; and has featured in a range of publications and documentaries on the same projects. An aerial viewpoint is often used in more recent work and Tony was also a core artist at the 2013 Ballarat International Foto Biennale. In recent years, he has had images shown at several European and Asian exhibitions, including venues in Switzerland, Sweden and China. His recent solo exhibition, “Coast”, was displayed at the prestigious Lynton & Kay Gallery in Perth, Western Australia.

Over a career that covers more than 25 years, Tony has also photographed several thousand portraits. His images of people, whilst often simple in design, look to present the person or persons within the context of their environment in symbolic and revealing ways.

Tony conducts many keynote addresses, workshops and seminars to both professionals and enthusiasts. He has won over 200 national and international awards. Tony is the 2013 AIPP Australian Professional Photographer of the Year and has twice been awarded the Western Australia AIPP Professional Photographer of the Year.

In March 2016, Tony was awarded 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the Landscape Division of the WPPI International Photography Awards in Las Vegas.
